Hello hello!
Nice to meet you! My name is Natascha, I am a Dutch creative nerd.
Way back when...
My crochet journey started at age 7 together with my brother. We would race each other in making the longest scarf EVER. Our grandmother gave us her leftover yarns and an extra set of crochet hooks.
Started designing
Years passed and in Winter of 2014 I had some time to kill during the Holidays. I decided to buy a small crochet kit and try my hand at making a flower-shaped pin cushion. After some frustration, and many Youtube tutorials later, I sort of succeeded. Being a creative at heart, I immediately wanted to design and crochet my own creatures. That was the jump start to designing my own crochet patterns. What began as a hobby eventually grew into this Yarnstructions webshop.
My belief = anyone can crochet
I am a firm believer that anyone can learn to crochet. My goal is to make crochet patterns for every skill level. I provide dozens of pictures in each pattern. Some patterns also come with video material. As an extra guidance for the absolute beginners I have made a free reference sheet containing many stitches and techniques.

Love crochet, hate sewing
I love crocheting, but I do not like the sewing at the end. If there's lots of sewing to be done at the end of a crochet project it will just stay a WIP (work in progress) forever. Many other crocheters share this opinion about sewing crochet.
Therefore, I enjoy putting in the extra effort to write amigurumi patterns with little to no sewing. That makes these patterns very enjoyable and easy to crochet.
